What is HOD?
The House of Delegates (HOD) meeting is an annual event in which the governing body of LMSA-SE, comprised of delegates from each LMSA Southeast chapter, come together to discuss the organization’s focus and agenda for the upcoming year. This meeting also provides an opportunity for members to share the successes of individual chapters and suggest changes to LMSA Southeast’s organizational structure, procedures and constitution
Event Information
Our House of Delegates will take place in-person during this year’s LMSA National Conference on Sunday September 17. During this day, regional chapter leaders will partake in discussion regarding policy changes beneficial to the SE region and LMSA national. Additionally, regional chapters will have the opportunity to showcase their events, exchange ideas with other chapters, and learn recruitment strategies among other tools that will benefit their chapters
Chapters Active Status Requirement
All LMSA chapters in the Southeast region are *REQUIRED* to attend by sending at least 2 delegates in person to the Fall House of Delegates meeting in order to retain active status within LMSA Southeast.
The fall House of Delegates meeting will occur Sunday, September 17th, 2023 at 9:30am in person.
Note: All schools are required to send at least 2 representatives to House of Delegates to maintain active chapter status.
